Through innovative creative, video, and stories across the world we helped to highlight the great achievements that are taking place in neuroscience. We recognised some of the fantastic medical breakthroughs through personal, motivating and memorable stories to help everyone understand how the people at Biogen are helping people living with serious neurological and neurodegenerative diseases.  We captured employees’ proud moments to illustrate how far Biogen had come in 40 years.

Bringing Great Places vision and values to life

The team at Great Places contacted Blue Zebra to see how we could help them bring the values and ethos of the organisation to life throughout their new three floor headquarters.

Transforming the Arcadia business

Blue Zebra won a pitch to support Arcadia in their business transformation to help them engage all employees in their global ambition of becoming the customers’ favourite fashion destination connecting them with Arcadia products in-store, online, anywhere, anytime.

 

We developed a Horizon programme to help Arcadia employees think about the future. Bringing the personality of employees into the campaign to help them identify with the programme and think about what was on their own Horizon. It helped employees to identify with the future vision and behavioural changes required to make it happen.

Working with Tapestry we helped launch their new values and behaviours to employees, volunteers and trustees. We helped them bring their people to the forefront of the organisation by focusing in on the great work and great faces that make up the charity.

Using strategic thinking, insights and ideas from all stakeholders we delivered a creative campaign to illustrate what the values meant to people in differing roles. Sharing real stories through a range of deliverables we involved and inspired people across the organisation to think differently.

 

Improving employee communications across Berkshire NHS Healthcare Trust

Research

Currently there is little data available to assess the impact of internal communication inside the organisation and the effectiveness of internal communication channels.  The Trust recognises the importance of internal communications and the impact it can have.

 

Our brief was to assess how effective communications inside the organisation was so we can identify how communication can be improved to engage and communicate with diverse audiences’ groups to make them part of delivering the Trusts promise every day.

Through a range of quantitative, qualitative research and focus groups to probe deeper into quantitative data, encourage dialogue and early buy-in we identified a number of key recommendations to enhance communication across the Trust. We worked closely with the communications team to put in place the recommendations and support future planning and communication channels.

Working on the merger integration communication strategy for  Sovereign Housing Group we took time talking to employees in both organisations to understand what mattered to them. We worked with the communications team and senior directors to help develop the communication strategy and plan, the core story that shared the rationale for the merger and the future vision. We worked closely with line managers and communication advocates to help provide a communication framework that provides the tools and resources needed to engage people in the future direction.

I’m delighted with the results of the office branding project. It’s been an instant success and a delight for everyone to see the office transformed. People are now using all of the spaces and feature areas. We feel really proud to work in an office that reflects our values and what we do as an organisation. I highly recommend Blue Zebra.

Siobhan Hammond

Consultant and Business Director

For the last 20 years, Siobhan has worked as a specialist in corporate communications, specifically organisational change and internal communications. Over that period, she has developed an in-depth understanding of the complex dynamics of transformational change. Drawing on her expertise and experience, she has been able to help businesses engage far more effectively with their people, improve loyalty and productivity, and maximise their commercial opportunities.

Siobhan’s experience covers a wide range of business sectors from FMCG to aviation, NHS Trust and finance to public housing, healthcare, transport, charities and agriculture. As well as working in-house for a number of blue-chip companies, she has been responsible for directing and helps clients bring business strategy to life through communications.

For over 19 years Pippa has worked as a specialist in client services and project management. She leads on client accounts to ensure projects are managed flawlessly to timescales and budgets.

Pippa’s experience covers both small local and large global projects that build on her extensive digital insight and knowledge. She proactively manages relationships with clients and seeks innovative opportunities to bring in creative ideas.
